Valentine candy treats from the Candy Queen

Need a last minute Valentine's Day gift? Make this candy bark to give away to friends, co-workers or loved ones… no baking required!

Hollywood Candy Girls valentine barkIngredients:White chocolate or red colored candy meltsFestive red and pink candies (like gummy lips, crushed candy canes, chocolates, etc.)Directions:1Prep your supplies

Line a 9 x 13-inch baking sheet with wax paper and prep the candy for your bark.

2Melt and spread chocolate

In a medium bowl, melt your chocolate of choice slowly in the microwave, heating for about 30 seconds at a time and stirring. Repeat as needed until melted. Pour the melted chocolate onto prepared baking sheet and level chocolate with an offset spatula. (Don't spread chocolate too thin. You don't need to cover the whole cookie sheet.)

3Add candy

While chocolate is still warm, sprinkle with candy, then tap the baking sheet on the table to set the candy in. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until bark is completely hard.

4Break bark

When chocolate is set, break bark into pieces.

5Package it up and give a gift

Package in a cellophane bag and tie with a ribbon for a cute Valentine's Day gift.
